蓮花文化廣場以火蓮花為主題，火蓮花，代表著一種精神，也被稱作一朵心蓮，具有積極的人生意義，其文化意象為人在俗世欲海中的自凈修行，雖困逆境而能超越，最終達到破壞惡趣，解脫煩惱，抵制邪念。傳說火蓮花生長在南方朱雀之地，即，溫度炎熱的地方，與蓮花山所處的地理位置相契合—天之南陸，五行主火，象征四象中的老陽，四季中的夏季，同時，蓮花山下有地熱泉、溫度達93℃，蓮花山又是巖漿入侵形成的，周邊還有火山口，讓人聯想到中國文化中獨特的“火蓮花”。故，以火蓮花為主題。

蓮花文化廣場是供旅游者停足觀賞蓮花、品茶休憩和交通樞紐之地。內有火蓮花雕塑、蓮花池、休憩廊亭、茶室供游客觀賞和休息，有廁所、商店、游客換乘點等游客服務點。

蓮花文化廣場以火蓮花雕塑為主體，雕塑形態為：三只朱雀首尾相連，環繞火蓮花順時針騰飛，寓意著一生二，二生三，三生萬物，生機勃勃，生生不息，突顯火蓮花內涵特征及主題意義。

Lotus Culture Square

Lotus Cultural Square is themed on fire lotus which is also known as heart lotus.It representsa spirit

with positive meaning in and life.Its cultural image is the self-purification practice of human beings in the sea of worldly desires who can transcend despite adversity and eventually reach the state of  destroying all evil, relieving all worries, and being free and liberated.

It is said that the fire lotus grows in the land of vermilion bird, that is, the place with hot temperature, which is in line with the geographical location of Lotus Mountain - the south land, fire in the five elements, the greater yang in the four phenomena and summer of the four seasons. Under the Lotus Mountain where the square is located, there is a 

geothermal spring with a temperature of 93°C. The Lotus Mountain is formed by magma invasion, and there are craters around it. It’s reminiscent of the unique "fire lotus" in Chinese culture. For this reason, the Square takes the fire lotus as its theme.

There are fire lotus sculptures and lotus ponds in the Lotus Culture Square for tourists to stop and watch the lotus flowers. There are lounge pavilions, tea rooms, toilets, and shops, where tourists can enjoy tea and rest, and there are tourist transfer points for transportation.

Lotus Culture Square is dominated by the fire lotus sculpture, which is in the form of three birds connected at the beginning and end, flying clockwise around the fire lotus, implying that “one begets two; two begets three; three begets all things.”, vigorous and endless, highlighting the connotation characteristics and thematic significance of the fire lotus.
